Carving Session

The College of Culinary and Hospitality Management (CCHM), Chitwan conducted an engaging Carving Session, providing students with an opportunity to develop their artistic creativity and practical culinary skills through professional food carving techniques.

During the session, students learned and practiced various carving methods, transforming fruits and vegetables into attractive decorative designs and artistic presentations. The hands-on experience helped participants understand the importance of precision, patience, creativity, presentation, and attention to detail in the culinary and hospitality industry.

The session encouraged students to explore the artistic side of culinary arts while strengthening their practical skills and confidence. It also demonstrated how creative food presentation can enhance the overall dining experience and contribute to professional culinary excellence.

Rakhi Competition

The College of Culinary and Hospitality Management (CCHM), Chitwan successfully organized a Rakhi Competition, celebrating the beautiful cultural tradition of Raksha Bandhan through creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic expression.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and skills by designing and preparing unique and attractive Rakhis. Participants explored different materials, colors, patterns, and creative concepts while reflecting the cultural significance and traditional values associated with Raksha Bandhan.

The event encouraged students to appreciate cultural traditions while developing their creativity, teamwork, attention to detail, and presentation skills. It also created a vibrant and engaging environment where participants could share their ideas and celebrate the spirit of togetherness and sibling bonds.

Through events such as the Rakhi Competition, CCHM Chitwan continues to encourage students to participate in meaningful cultural activities while nurturing creativity, confidence, and practical skills.

Kwati Competition

The College of Culinary and Hospitality Management (CCHM), Chitwan successfully conducted a Kwati Competition, celebrating Nepal’s rich culinary heritage and traditional food culture. The event brought together talented culinary students and food enthusiasts to showcase their creativity, skills, and knowledge in preparing the traditional Nepali dish, Kwati.

The competition provided an exciting platform for participants to explore traditional ingredients and cooking techniques while presenting Kwati in innovative and appealing ways. Participants demonstrated their culinary expertise through the preparation, presentation, taste, and creativity of their dishes.

The event aimed to promote Nepali cuisine, traditional culinary practices, and local food ingredients, while encouraging young hospitality professionals to appreciate and preserve Nepal’s diverse gastronomic heritage. Through such initiatives, CCHM continues to provide practical learning experiences and opportunities for students to develop their culinary skills in a competitive and professional environment.

The Kwati Competition was a celebration of tradition, creativity, culinary excellence, and the evolving identity of Nepali cuisine.
